
About Shannon
Shannon is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and is admitted to practice in all Georgia state courts, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, and U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Georgia. She is also a member of the American Bar Association and Georgia Association of Women Lawyers. Shannon was selected for the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia’s Leadership Academy and graduated in 2019. She was elected and served for the State Bar of Georgia, Young Lawyers Division Representative Council for the Southern District from 2019 until 2021.
Shannon joins KDC after five years with a highly regarded Plaintiff’s firm located in Savannah, Ga. While with her former firm, Shannon’s practice concentrated on complex litigation, business disputes, and other high-stakes cases. Shannon graduated Cum Laude from the University of Georgia School of Law. While in law school, she clerked at CSX headquarters in Jacksonville, Florida, interned at the EEOC in the Litigation Unit, and completed an externship at NCR, Corp. in their employment & labor department. She has also assisted small businesses and entrepreneurs with a variety of corporate transactional matters as a member of the Business Law Clinic at UGA Law.
Originally from Loganville, Georgia, Shannon graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Georgia with a B.A. in Journalism. Shannon now lives in Charleston with her husband and their daughter.
