
About Kim
Kim is Of Counsel for KDC and practices in the firm’s Greenville, South Carolina office. She received her BA from Duke University in 1984 and her law degree from Emory University in 1987. Kim began her career in litigation in Dallas, Texas, learning her craft from one of the country’s top construction attorneys. In 1991, she joined a large national law firm in its Greenville office, where she became a partner and litigated numerous construction, business, and employment cases.
Over her three decades of litigation experience, Kim has assisted all types of clients, from individuals to multi-billion-dollar corporations. She has litigated hundreds of cases, including mediations, arbitrations, bench trials and jury trials all over the United States. She also has handled multiple appellate cases in the South Carolina Court of Appeals, South Carolina Supreme Court, and the United States Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. She has received a peer review rating of AV Preeminent from Martindale-Hubbell®, the highest peer rating standard. This is given to attorneys who are ranked at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal expertise, communication skills, and ethical standards by their peers.
Kim is married and has one daughter. She enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
