About Jason
Prior to joining KDC, Jason practiced for over 20 years with a large regional law firm in Greenville, South Carolina and an aggressive boutique firm in Spartanburg, South Carolina representing small and large corporations, sole proprietorships, and individuals in a variety of matters. While Jason litigates mostly construction and commercial litigation, he has also defended international spray foam products liability cases, pursued consumer protection violations, guided clients through corporate dissolutions, litigated environmental issues, and handled a variety of matters for Homeowners Associations and homeowners suffering construction defects. Jason’s experience gives him valuable experience to foresee, strategize, and economically navigate issues with an eye toward efficiency and value, while still adhering to his aggressive training.
Jason has pursued and defended multiple cases in the South Carolina Supreme Court and even more in the South Carolina Appellate courts, drafted legislation to help subcontractors recover amounts owed, and tried multiple cases, large and small, to verdict. He is experienced in a wide range of construction defect litigation – single family, multi- family, and commercial; counseling construction operators from creation through operation, to ultimate dissolution or sale; or guiding owners through compensation and repair of construction defects.
