About Jacob
Jacob is an associate in Kenison, Dudley & Crawford’s Greenville, SC office. He is admitted to practice in all South Carolina state courts and the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina. He previously worked at an AmLaw 100 firm’s Columbia and Greenville offices, focusing on products liability, commercial litigation, and electronic discovery. He was also heavily involved in the firm’s pro bono program, taking one case to trial in federal court.
A Spartanburg County native, Jacob received a B.A. from Wofford College, where he graduated magna cum laude and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.
Jacob received his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he also graduated magna cum laude and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. He was a member of the South Carolina Law Review, which awarded him for writing the most outstanding student note. [He also served as a research assistant for a professor whose work focused on the role of family businesses in society.]
Before going into private practice, Jacob clerked for the Honorable John W. Kittredge at the Supreme Court of South Carolina, where he further honed his research and writing skills.
Jacob enjoys hiking, history, food, and college sports. He hopes to eventually visit all of South Carolina’s state parks and historic sites, and as many waterfalls as he can find.
