About Caitlin
As an associate in KDC’s Columbia office, Caitlin focuses her practice on commercial litigation and construction law. Caitlin represents owners and contractors in a variety of construction disputes involving residential and commercial projects, including design and construction defect claims, mechanic’s liens, and prompt payment disputes. Prior to joining KDC, Caitlin practiced at a mid-sized litigation firm and gained experience handling construction, premises liability, insurance coverage, and professional liability matters.
Caitlin earned her B.A. from the University of South Carolina and her J.D. from the Joseph F. Rice School of Law at USC, where she graduated cum laude. During law school, she served as Executive Articles Editor of the South Carolina Law Review and a member of the Moot Court Bar.
Outside of the office, Caitlin enjoys cheering on the Gamecocks and spending time outdoors with her golden retriever, Ernie.
